With Mr Green Ladies & Gents Evening at Chester Race Course taking place on Friday 13th July, it’s time to start thinking about what to wear for the prestigious annual event.
Not only is it fun to get dressed up for the races, but with the ‘Best Dressed’ contest taking place on the evening of the event, it’s always nice to be in it to win it!
In order to maximise your chances of claiming the title of best dressed, in partnership with Mr Green, I present to you The Discerning Man’s Ladies & Gents Evening Style Guide.
I’ve broken this down into three looks:
Look 1: Classic and Classy. Classic British tailoring meets an evening at the races. Navy and cream tones, complemented with a striking white shirt and straw hat to accessorise.
Look 2: Bold and coordinated. Stand out from the crowd, with a well-fitted coordinated suit in a summer floral print.
Look 3: Summer Pastel Colour Blocking, Lemon, dusty green and powder blue summer pastels, paired with a baby pink or lilac shirt to create a colour blocked and striking look.
With the event around the corner, I’ve selected all the items from ASOS, which will allow enough time for them to get to you before Friday 13th!
So without further ado…
