It’s safe to say, Autumn has officially arrived and with the start of any new season, a little wardrobe overall is always required.
Gone are the lighter grey and beige suiting tones, in favour of Autumnal navy blues, charcoals, plums and blacks, as seen in Saville Row tailors Richard James’ latest collection.
Richard James is a contemporary menswear tailor, who although their designs are contemporary, still to this day maintain traditional suit making techniques. The AW16 diffusion collection is all about sharp and contemporary fits at an affordable price point, but nevertheless of the same quality and attention to details as their premium lines.
The Tonal Pow jacket offers a tailored fit, which tapers in at the hips to flatter the figure and clean lines to give good shoulder definition. The trousers are tapered down the leg with a slim opening for a modern, sophisticated silhouette.
It’s a really versatile suit, which would work dressed-down with a plain white t-shirt and black plimsolls or with the suit jacket, a smart light coloured shirt and mid-wash jeans with a nice pair of black or tan Chelsea boots.
