August Essentials

1.Uomo Salvatore Ferragamo Fragrance, From £37

The new fragrance for men by the Italian luxury goods company offers the sophistication and elegance of Italy infused with masculine notes such as sandalwood, black pepper and bergamot, as well as a nod to Italian cuisine offering undertones of tiramisu and orange blossom.

2. Aveda Thickening Tonic, £20

I’ve been using this since meeting the Aveda team at the beginning of the week and can confidently say already – it’s the product I’ve been looking for my whole life!

The thickening tonic is perfect for thinner hair and is easily applied in the morning onto wet hair, before blow-drying and styling. The tonic coats hair follicles with sodium magnesium silicate, which leaves a layer of the particles on the hair strands giving the appearance of fuller hair.

3. Don Papa Rum, £31.95

Summer wouldn’t be summer without a sitting in the garden with a rum and ginger beer. I’ve recently taken a liking to Don Papa – a small batch rum from the isle of Negros, which is aged for seven years before it’s blended to perfection, offering a flavour explosion of honey, vanilla and fruits.

4. Babor Men Vitalizing Hair & Body Shampoo,  £19

Babor is a luxury skincare brand made in Germany. The vitalizing hair & body shampoo is a great all-rounder for the gym, freshen-up showers or festivals and contains hop and algae extracts to replenish and moisture the skin, whilst menthol ingredients leave the skin feeling cleansed and refreshed.

5. Laviish Beard Vitamins, Minerals and Botanicals, £27

I’ve always used hair and nail strengthening supplements, but I don’t think I’ve previously tried any this aesthetically pleasing!

Laviish Beard is an essential blend of vitamins, minerals and botanicals designed to aid in the growth or maintenance of beards, to keep the beard strong, thick and healthy.

6. Johnny’s Chop Shop HOBO Hair, £5

Another festival saviour! – perfect for creating retro-inspired hairstyles. It’s also great to have a dry shampoo, which isn’t aimed at the female market.

7. Heaven Skincare Silver Bee Venom Mask, £55

Containing actual bee venom (Abeetoxin), this anti-aging face mask smooths out fine lines, whilst firming and lifting skin.

8. VerveLife VerveOnes+ Wireless Earphones, £229

On the tube, jogging, in the gym, blogging… I literally can’t put these wireless earbuds down. Life without wires has been a dream, since having these in my life.  Check out my full review here:
